It was a facebook messenger and thought it was a friend ( it was my mom) she was unaware that it was a scam and she's struggling as is and things are worst for her as is and she really thought this was a legit grant! She didn't have any other info due to the fact it was gift cards and got a $5,000 loan to pay for the rest . I wish I knew about this sooner because I would've stopped her right away. She's hurting financially as is! I hope there's help for her soon to get her money ( or some anyway) back.
