Rose claimed she had 2 puppies still available for adoption through the "Cairns Terrier for Rehoming/Adoption (Rescue/Reputable Breeder)" group on Facebook. I reached out to her for more information as I was interested in adopting. After she "chose" me, I was asked to pay a $500 deposit. Then the rest when I had the pup home ($1000) total. Once I paid the initial fee, the conversation got very pushy and unprofessional. She continued to ask for the rest of the money even though I had no dog to show for it. She started to tell me I wasn't serious and she didn't want to give me a dog after all. I asked for a refund of the deposit and she blocked me from all forms of communication.
