Cheryl Townson came on Facebook messenger pretending to be a friend and then gave me a website to click on . She said I could receive government grants at no cost if eligible. So I clicked on it and it brought me to Agent Mary Scott saying I was eligible for government grant. Had to fill out personal information then to pick the amount of money I would like and I would receive the money in 24 hours by Fed Ex. So I picked out the amount and she came back saying I would have to pay a fee in order to receive the money. The amount I chose would cost me $500 to receive. Then I knew it was a scam. I told them no I couldn’t do that, I can’t afford it and they both kept hounding me to send money. I told them take me off the list I don’t want it. So now I have received threatening messages from both of them saying the FBI would arrest me if I didn’t pay. They even sent me a picture of someone being arrested. I’m so glad I didn’t send them any money. Please do not fall for this. I should have known better. Could you please help me in this matter. I haven’t responded anymore after the threats they sent.
