He came recommended by friends who did not know him that well and posing as a general building contractor. He did half the work very well, gaining our trust, and then said his dead son's "end of the year" ritual was in Los Angeles, for which he requested my friend to pay him in advance with tears in his eyes, begging for his dead son. Since he had done a good job, she trusted him. Because of Covid, the prices were going up, so he suggested buying the materials with his license discount, so when he returned, he was going to finish the house. After he returned, he started missing work. His worker Jorge Trujillo took all his tools without letting anyone know and left garbage bags behind, looking as if the tools were still there. After getting a hold of his son, Jose Fuentes, he told us his father was in jail and to please be patient, promising his dad would finish the work once he got out. To this day, Sergio never showed up, keeping all the money from the materials and the advance payment. He left the house destroyed. Now he has turned off his phone, we found out the address in his license is not his and neither is his business card.
