Sent to me by email from the Thunderbird Inn in Savannah GAExpedia.com (or an imposter): "Hello-- The credit card that you provided for this booking has declined. We will hold the room as a courtesy until NOON today to allow time for the method of payment to be updated. Afterwards, we will release the room back into inventory to sell to someone else. Please contact us TODAY if you wish to retain this booking. The Thunderbird inn (912)232-2661." I called and gave them another credit card to hold my reservation of two rooms at the Thunderbird Inn in Savannah. Wen we arrived on Sunday, the hotel had no record of the payment, and I had to pay $1,148.80 AGAIN for 4 nights. The first payment made to Expedia has been charged to my Chase Credit card. When I now call the number above, they hang up on me. Can you help me get my money back?

I called a Expedia Customers service number to confirm an upcoming trip and was told that my return flight was canceled due to a payment error. The staff informed me that I needed to purchase a Hoogle Play Card for the amount of $980 so that he could use the card to rebook my return flight. Staff told me not to worry that I would be reimburse me the funds. I complied and purchased the card. I did not think anything of it as I had call the Expedia number and thought it was legitimate. I gave him the card number and access code. He then put me on hold and inform me that something went wrong with the card and that I should purchase another card for $460 dollars. He kept asking me to purchase gift cards saying that he had to merge the cards together and not to worry that I was going well be reimbursed. The whole time he stayed with me on my cell phone. I became suspicious and did not purchase any more cards. Staff threatened to cancel my whole trip if I didn’t do as he said. I went home called the Airline directly and turns out my return flight was not cancelled. In total I lost $3700. I immediately file a police report. I also called the number that I initially call and the number in which the staff called me and cannot get through. I also called the Expedia Corporate Office and received an automated response. I was unable to leave a message or speak to a live person.

Called for my wife, claiming to have a change in our Phoenix travel booked by Expedia.

Wanted my email for starters.

Smelled like a SCAM, I asked for his name. Only got "Daniel". Refused to give his last name. Tried to put me on hold to "check with his manager"

I terminated the call, tried to call back. No phone connection! This is a SCAM 480-401-3863
