on December 17th, i bought a VANOS unit for my e46 m3, which the seller included in the invoice that it was coming with an exhaust hub; which is what drives the oil pump disc in the unit to make everything work. On Dec 21st i recieved the VANOS unit alone, and i double check the box to make sure im not missing any items. When i confirm the exhaust hub isnt in the box i contacted the seller. He stated that should have been the 1st thing i saw when i opened the box, as he was in a rush and packed everything at the USPS store. He then says when he went to check his truck, the exhaust hub "fell" in the back seat, when he just stated he made sure it was on top as soon as the box is opened. He supposedly sent the exhaust hub Dec 23rd. Jan 3rd i asked hi if he has the right address, he states "my handwriting isnt the best, but its still legible" and was so positive he sent the hub. The next day i call him, Jan 4th he tells me "I had just got the hun nack in the mail today, i guess i sent it to the wrong address." When i ask him to send the Hub i had already paid for he then says "Nah, im not gonna send it back out since it was so much hassle" which im confused at being as though its a product i already paid for and hes refusing to send to me. He stated he will give me a full refund following the return of the product, but i bought the VANOS unit for a reason as i need it to get my car up and running again, so theres no need for me to send it back, when he failed to ship the product i was invoiced for.
