My husband and I are going to Australia in January. I was told we required a visa, so I went on line type in "Application for Australian Visas" the website asked me to complete the application and pay $20.00 AU for each Visa. It also wanted our Passport Identification numbers. I paid with my Visa card and sent that out. The next day I received an e-mail from them saying that our Visas had been approved and it gave me two reference numbers to bring with us when we would go through customs, no need for any paper work.

EVISAS EU EVISA 1800-678-1506 99 USD @ 1.306100000000. My Visa card was charged $129.31 Cd twice.

I have tried to call, the phone has been disconnected!

I have e-mailed them to complain and that I wanted my money refunded, only to have them tell me that I couldn't have gone on the proper website to begin with. Many websites are not official government websites and they profit by taking your info and sending it on to the Australian Government and charge you extra for this service.

I called the Australian Embassy and they told me to go on their official website and send a e-mail requesting a refund. [email protected] --------------------This e-mail doesn't work either

I am so frustrated!

I have never experienced anything like this before.
