Received a call from a man posing as an Eversource (my current energy provider) representative. He informs me that Liberty Power is instructing them to switch my energy provider. I say that's not true. He then transfers me to a representative at Liberty Power where I have to tell him the request is false. When transferred, another man (who oddly sounds like the first guy I spoke to) asks for my address to find me in his system. When I tell him this request is false, he starts to tell me that this was some sort of green energy program offered by the government and that an executive from Liberty Power confirmed the switch. I told him this was completely erroneous and having worked in the retail energy industry for 7 years knew this was totally a scam. He tried to continue giving me information regarding the green energy program and that my energy service would be cut off if I didn't comply. I told him to cancel whatever he was trying to do and that I would sue the company if anything happened to my service. He then hung up on me.

Received calls from "Lisa @ 508-835-5352* offering a 30% discount on our Eversource Electric Bill if we haven't been late on a payment for the last 6 months", and to "press 1 to get the discount, or 0 to be taken off the list". We do not even have "Eversource" as our Energy Provider. We even pressed "0", but the calls keep coming. *Not in service.

repeated calls from someone saying they were from Eversource , my electric provider, and I might qualify for up to a 30% reduction on my next bill because I had been a customer for a number of years and recieved no form of assistance program to pay the electric. they had my name address and phone. they wanted the account number. i gave it to them and was told i would be called back for confirmation and more info. at which point i smelled a scam. Eversource of course has no info on this on their website and no way to contact customer service after hours to ask. they did call back and i hung up.

A male started his call saying, "CAN YOU HEAR ME" twice. He stated he was an Eversource provider. He stated that for being a good customer for 6 months, I was eligible for a 15% discount for 4 months. He repeatedly asked for my account number.

The caller identifies themselves as a rep for EVERSOURCE Gas & Electric. There is an actual EVERSOURCE recording, but the telephone is false and a scam. The number is 866-978-8273. They request the customer to obtain a GREENDOT Credit Card from the local store and call them back.
