On 9/4/17, two men dressed as employees of Eversource Electric Company knocked on my door with the intent to obtain a copy of my Eversource Electric bill, for purposes of seeing if I qualify for a rate reduction. By all appearances, they look like real field employees. They had their matching shirts, badges, clip boards and a hand held computer device. What they did not have was a business card, vehicle, or any ID. They became agitated when I said I would call Eversource to verify the rate reduction program and even more aggressive when I said I was paperless and did not have a paper statement. Once the insults began, I closed the door and notified the police. This was the 2nd report of this scam in a week, in my town. The men were in their mid 20's. One was about 5'3 and Filipino looking, slender. The other man was white, apx 5'9, brown hair, eyes and beard and average body weight.
