An young man from Evergreen Gas and Electric came to my door pretending to be affiliated with PG&E and wanted to go over the changes to my gas and electricity usage and billing. Never in our conversation did he mention he works for Evergreen gas and electric. He had forms in his binder that were labeled PG&E and were identical to my billing statements. I fell for the scam and signed the documents thinking PG&E was responsible. I received a confirmation email and read it this morning. Thats when i discovered that this was a company that has nothing to do with PG&E, but is a 3rd party company selling gas and electricity. They have nothing to do with PG&E. He purposely gave me false information to make me believe that he was working with PG&E.
