I had put a deposit on a puppy In Orlando FL and the person said his son had came down with covid so he would ship dog to my house and shipping company would contact me. So when the shipping company called me and gave me tracking number and explained to check tracking information and call them back I found that it stated I needed to pay for puppy insurance for puppy to be shipped and if I don’t pay the 532$ refundable insurance then I would be taken to court for pet abandonment. So I paid it even though I didn’t want to hoping that maybe I could trust someone in this world so then they said the puppy was in route and I was excited. About two hours later they text me and said that tracking has been updated and I need to check it and get back with them, it stated now that the puppy needs to be in a air conditioned crate because the weather is so unbearable, I told them this is crazy they told me it was coming in a van and it’s 60 degrees outside. They stated without paying the 325 dollars for the air conditioned crate they could not proceed which now means unless I handed more of my money over my dog wasn’t coming and also means because I refused to pay for the crate I am no longer able to get my 525 dollar puppy insurance back that was refundable when puppy was delivered
