Found an add on craigslist listing a Maine [censored]. Got the same story everyone else got. They moved into a non pet apartment and couldn't keep the cat, it was free i just had to pay for the pet transport company, which was $300. It all seemed so legit until i got the call from "ever green courier service." It was a man with an accent, i could tell he was at home because i heard kids in the background. He sent me a text with a tracking number and the website link. The site looks very legit as well. What got me was how they wanted payment. Cash app, zelle or apple pay. I said to him "why cant i just pay on the website like a normal company?" he pretty much said that's not how they do things and to just send him the money so they can ship me the cat. I told him this definitely sounds like a scam and he said "look ma'am we are not out here to take people's money, you don't have to do any of this." I told him id go to the bank and call back. This was yesterday. Ive received about 5 call backs the next day, and multiple texts at like 10pm at night from a 512 # and a 469 # which i'm sure are fake as well. What pet transporting company does this? I am now being harassed and its quite annoying. DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH ANY OF THEIR ********!!!!!!
