The people called claiming to be Eversource and told me they were going to shut my power off in 45 minutes if I didn't call their billing department and pay immediately. I have paid every one of my bills on time so I knew this was not real. I did call them back just to see what they said, and they told me that they were located in Danbury, CT right near the police department. He also could not provide me with my correct service address or the name on my account. When I asked why the number I called was not on any ever source paperwork, he said it was because only the billing and collections department works on Sunday's. He then told me he would transfer me to a "floor manager" and then hung up on me.
