I have been applying to many work-from-home jobs on many different job platforms so it's hard to keep track of which companies I have applied to. Heath Pennington ([email protected]) was the first person to reach out to me about an administrative assistant position at Event 360 Int'l Media Group. We had an interview through email and I was offered the position. He asked me to email "HR" my full name, home address, phone number, and email. I then forwarded this information to Brian Bradley ([email protected]). He asked for my driver's license and to sign an employment agreement and that someone from payroll would contact me about a check to purchase my home equipment. The person from payroll is Kevin Tennon ([email protected]) and he said that I would deposit this check into my account and to let him know when it was done and he would give me further instructions. I should've known this was a scam but I have been desperately looking for a job and it seemed like a good opportunity at the time. But I realized no company would send you a check to buy equipment. They would either ship it out themselves or pay you back once you submit receipts. I have not deposited this check. He said to let him know once I have deposited the check for further instructions. I am submitting this report because I don't want someone else to actually fall for the scheme.
