I found this Fb account under the name of Evelyn Marcus on a fb dog group called Luv a chin rescue group. I just lost my 9 year old Japanese Chin to CHF and because I'm hurting of course I want to give love to another little one. They are very hard to come by. Especially in Michigan. It took me 5 years to find my guy. In fact when I asked where she was located I thought for sure she was going to say Florida or Pennsylvania or something. Not only did they say Michigan but they also said my college town of Kalamazoo. Now that never happens. I know now they looked at my entire profile and also hacked information before they even answered me back. If they would have said another state or even a city that was over 3 hours to drive I never would have even considered it. They said that it was 400 deposit and then when you came on that following Friday to pick up the puppy you would pay the balance. 900.00 instead of 2500 or 3k is not super cheap but it's only a 3rd of the cost. On top of that hobby breeders do exist..I got my chin that passed from a hobby breeder for 200.00 and it was a great 9 years. So they do exist. I actually have a friend that lives in Kalamazoo and they went to the house address for me the next day and knocked on the door. A girl answered and said omgosh you are like the 4th people that have come here asking about puppies. So at that point those other people had given their 400 and showed up with their balance only to find no puppy no lady named Evelyn Marcus. My dad said well what did you learn from this? I said well I learned never venmo money to someone you never met for something you have never seen in person. So there ya go.
