I was given a contract to sign and offered over $36,000. I signed the contract which was to guarantee the sale to Grupo Modelo. The transaction was to be handled by the escrow department of Santander Bank, Mexico.

I was then told I needed to pay a form of capital gains to the Mexican Government. I paid that. I was then told I needed to pay a fee to the local government. I paid that. I was told I was guaranteed to get all of the payments back when the transaction was completed. I was then told I needed to pay a transfer fee, which I paid (over $8000 total) and that I would receive a wire transfer for $48,781.00 USD In a few days.
I received a phone call from another supposed Escrow Solutions member reassuring me that the money refund was guaranteed.

I have requested refund of all payments, but of course this is a total scam. No contact or refunds have been initiated.
