I purchased a split queen duvet cover and inserts from Ervét Bedding, they had good reviews on their website. It cost $348 for the bundle. After I received the product, it was of poor quality. The inserts were extremely not breathable and were very flat. I am an average person, 5’7 and 130 lbs yet one half of the split duvet would barely cover me. It was a struggle to even get my order initially. I had purchased 7/24/23 and didn’t receive my order until 8/15/23 despite being told 2-5 business days for shipping. I had to follow up multiple times with their customer service to even get a response. Then after it arrived and I decided I didn’t like the product and wanted to return, they wouldn’t allow me to return until I had tried the product out for 30 days. After the time was up and I still wanted to return, it took multiple times following up to get the return label and they deducted $48 from my return payment for shipping costs to their facility in San Diego and then to whatever facility they donate their returned bedding. I had responded that there was nothing on their website that said I would have to pay the cost for them to ship the bedding to the donation center and they would not give me a breakdown of the shipping costs. What made me want to report them to the ScamPulse.com was that I went to leave a review on their website detailing my experience to help inform other people. Their website has all five star reviews and a couple four star ones. After I submitted my one star review, I got an automated email saying that someone from their company would look into my experience within 24 hours. I submitted my review 10/20/23 and followed up 8 times with no one from their customer service addressing the review or posting it. I lost a good portion of my payment on “return costs” on poor quality goods that other people will continue to purchase because their company refuses to be transparent about their costs, process, or reviews.
