Ernie came to my house to repair a leak in my roof. After consultation, and telling me that there were a number of issues he felt needed to be resolved, I told him to go ahead with repairs, including the main job, the patching to stop the leak. 2 days later, when it started to rain heavily, the leak was still there, and if anything it was worse. I called Ernie, and his only response was that there was no guarantee on repairs. This was 2 days after I paid him $500 to fix a leak. He refused to give me even a partial refund, stating over and over all the issues he addressed, even though the main issue he was hired to resolved was the leak, which was not resolved at all. The customer service and response to our problem was completely unsatisfactory. I asked to at least come and wrap the leaking area in a tarp to stop further damage to our home, he refused. I found someone who was willing to come and tarp the whole roof, and he refused to cover this cost as well, even though we were forced to do it as a result of his shoddy work, and there was further damage to our house because of his negligence.
