A friend asked me to investigate Erdstar Technologies because she thought it might be a scam. The structure of the scam is: (1) contact job seekers (perhaps aggressively), (2) offer employment, and (3) request $700 to secure one's spot for training (to be refunded in the first paycheck).

If you click through some of the links, you'll notice that a few connect to KareerSpace.com, which operated a similar scam.
