I was contacted by a gentleman in terms of an employment opportunity. He calls me, asks me a few questions, he did not have my resume in front of him, but he set up a zoom call. He texts me the zoom code to my cellphone. Once he interviews me, he likes the answers I give him, and he offers me the job on the spot. He proceeds to tell me that he wants to move the hire date at a later time due to an inspection. He then says he will send me paperwork, and never did. I reached out to him twice, and he tells me he changes his mind about the hiring process. This was highly unprofesisonal, he never reached out to me to confirm, did not return any of my phone calls, never gave me a website, orientation, or any brochure about the business. If I didn't reach out to him, I would have been in cold feet. Not to mention, I am now jobless, I put in my two week notice at my previous job thinking I had this opportunity and I am now without a job and struggling to pay rent. I want to file a complaint and potential lawsuit.
