In 2017 I called my student loan provider Navient asking about loan forgiveness. The operator gave me the number to Equitable Acceptance Corp then switched me directly to the number it rung and a woman picked up. I wont mention her name except to say she was sweet as pie. she then asked me some questions one in particular was are you supporting anyone in your home financially? I said flat out no. she hen asked about any family members who might I could consider as being financially dependent I said I have a brother who hangs around here to much but that's it.. She said ok that will do. She is a slick talking con artist...she told me if I paid $49.00 a month for 3 years I would be forgiven of all of my student loan dept. I should have just hung up but I was desperate. So I listened to her pitch her company. She told me I did not have to pay anything for a year ...and after that it would be only 49. dollars a month. I was hooked.. she then proceeded to want my bank account numbers, my pass words to my loans and a lot of things that should have put up a red flag ...but I wanted to get rid of my debt. I just didnt feel right about the whole thing so the next day I cancelled the whole thing and she got pissed off at me saying, "who told you about us ? What did they tell you?... I was so shocked by her behavior I told her I changed my mind. She was angry and yelling at me...so I hung up on her. The next day one of her co workers calls me back trying to convenience me to not call the whole thing off but I had already filed the cancellation forms etc. I was so worried about her shady behavior I went and changed my bank account to another bank. She was relentless sending me emails and bugging me.. Looking back I should have been more aware and seen the red flags when she started asking for my passwords and bank account routing numbers etc.. I felt embarrassed for being so desperate...wanting to eliminate my loans and didn't say anything' about this until now. oIt was predatory behavior and the slick way she reeled me in knowing I was desperate shows me I was not her first victim. The woman was manipulative , and such a fake...she even went so far as to talk about her personal life to me trying to seem like a .nice person. What a mistake...I am so glad I pulled out as fast as I did...

Do not get involved with these people they are not going to get you any relief with your loans. They are the epitome of scammers. Do not do business with Equitable Acceptance Corp.

I received my transunion credit report and noticed that EquitableACC was listed under credit card. I do not know of any EquitableACC and have never made contact with them. I do not know how they got my information. The credit card company had me to contact the transunion credit report company and they gave me the information to contact EquitableACC. After contacting them, a young lady came on the phone and it sound like she was whispering. I asked her to speak up. She put me on the phone with someone else. They started talking and I began asking questions about how they got my information. She told me it has to do with student loans. I told her I have never heard of them and I pay my student loan debt monthly with another company. I told her that I will be contacting the ScamPulse.com. She transferred me to someone speaking french or some other language and then I went to a voice mail. This is a scam and fraudulent company. I did not apply for any credit from them and I have not open an account with them. I have no knowledge how they got my information.
