The scammer offered to sell us a horse trailer. We made the deposit via wire transfer.

We then made the final payment via wire transfer, which was returned to our bank account the next day.

We called to ask why and they have disappeared with no way to contact them. You can't even visit their website. It asks for you to log in but there is no way to register in order to do so. They do not answer emails or phone calls.

So, they have taken the deposit.

This report is being made by Bethlehem Police Officer A.S. Hazelton (Officer No. 394) of the Town of Bethlehem Police Department. On 11/03/2022 I received a call from a concerned individual regarding the business "Equine Sky Sales" with the business website of "equinesky.us". The business address listed on the site is listed as 39 Frontage Road Glenmont, N.Y. 12077. As of 11/03/2022, at the time of this report, there is no address of 39 Frontage Road in Glenmont N.Y., and there is no business in the entire Town of Bethlehem under this name. The caller informed me that she contacted the company and was informed that in order to purchase a trailer she would have to pay online and have it shipped to her as there are no "in person viewings of the products". There is a police report filed through the Town of Bethlehem Police Department under case number 2022-33290.
