The scam attempted to get my attention by telling me my credit score dropped by 51 points, and to check the site. When going to the site, it told me to install virus software before continuing.

I received a text message that appears to be from Equifax. I think it is a scam. Attention all consumers. My credit score may be affected by someone using my credit score. They want me to call for a protection plan. 1-786-622-9404. That is why I think it is a scam. I did not call the number.

I received supposedly from Equifax http//.k.reprt30alrt..you/zn/. ————— with my cell phone number listed. A notice stating there has been unusual activity on my account and the last date to resolve is 3/6/2021. 435 271 4581 is the phone number that is listed for this text for them

Received a message by e-mail stating look like someone was messing with my credit. I opened the e-mail and stated filling out the information. Called Charter and they gave number for Equifax. I called Equifax and they said they don't do anything like that.

Did not give out my social security number. Backed out of the message.
