Telephone call on June 21/23, said his name was Marcus Burnett and he was with Equifax, second phone number given was 347-913-7507.. Said he was working with the banks to place alerts on credit cards, bank accounts, and needed confirming credit card information and bank information. I stupidly gave him all information on our cards and bank account. He gave me an I.D number MCV8701 for himself. In my defense, he was very polite and professional sounding and convincing. It's all false.

Two charges to my bank account, and one to my credit card with ensuing foreign fee appeared next day. Bank account is now changed and I'm still working on getting a charge to one of my credit cards reversed. There are two of us involved. Both of us have our own credit cards, and all credit cards were compromised. I, Mary, "gave away the farm", live and learn.

Initial phone call was June 21/23.

Amazingly enough he called again this week, identified himself, and as working for Citibank, and talked like he was an old friend. I gave him my opinion and hung up.
