I was first contacted by text message explaining that I was invited to interview for a position. Asked to send my resume to the email address provided. Then I began receiving emails from their HR Assistant( [email protected]) explaining the job and next steps to proceed to interview. There was also a name for the HR Manager of Susan Davis, no additional information provided. I was given a link to take an assessment test and answer questions. Also a link about setting up an employee form. I proceeded with the assessment and then the following day on 3/20/24 | was sent an offer letter of employment and asked to review, sign it and send it back. They asked me for my information to start my employee profile with the company and my name, address and phone number were on my resume. Stated they needed my date of birth so that I may start the process to become licensed with the company through a program. I wanted to ask a few questions about the process, and they stated I would only be able to use the application Telegram to communicate with them and to discontinue using email. I was sent my employee information and asked to log into the employee portal to check to make sure my log in was correct. Then I was asked about my bank information to do a mobile deposit from the company about paying for the licensing. I was told they would not be able to mall a check due to past attempts of checks being lost in the mail. This is when I finally realized this may be a scam. Shortly after I began to google the company to see if I was able to find out any other information and the only information, I could find on the company is from 2004. There is no phone number to contact the company and found information online from others about this scam and how bank information was stolen or money was taken. Images from the information matched the information I was sent almost exactly. I hope they are not able to steal my identity or do anything with the information I provided them.
