Type of a scam Online Purchase
This website lists dogs that are available for adoption. The seller will contact via email, respond quickly, and has a good "front" - he makes it seem like he really wants his puppies to go to a good home, asks about your home, pet history, etc. All things you'd want someone to ask when selling a puppy. He also sent pictures and videos of the supposed dog. Since he is located in MN, he said he would ship the dog and has a health guarantee posted on the website, as well as a guarantee about the shipping and dog's health.
However, upon further investigation - when I zoomed in on the pictures he sent, the dog's nametag on the collar was blurred out in several of the pictures and the video had no sound.
I started to get skeptical, so I asked for a FaceTime or Zoom call with him and the dog. I also asked why the nametag was blurred out. He refused any type of call, claimed he can't do this for every single person that inquires about a dog. Meanwhile, we had been emailing back and forth for over a week and were very seriously interested. After I expressed concern and said we are going to decline if you cannot provide a call of some sort with him AND the dog, he responded that he didn't want his puppies going to someone with "trust issues" and I wasn't a fit candidate. When I googled the phone number provided on his website, numerous types of breeds of dogs for sale came up. He has several websites set up for various breeds of dogs for adoption, using the same website format and same phone number.
It's definitely a scam for you to wire them money with no actual puppy for sale.
