EON Express Reports & Reviews (1)

- Carthage, TX, USA

I was asked if I was interested in a job by Whitney Davis (not a real person). I accepted and was sent paperwork to become a contract employee. I was then told to accept 5 study guides per week, and every Friday there would be a test over these study guides. I did a phone interview with a lady who was obviously Indian (Not Swedish, as I was told), and the phone interview was just a bunch of random personality questions. My contact for EON was Gregory Fields. His phone number on his email was the same as Davis, and the same as the company phone number listed on their web site. The number was real, but was a simple answering machine saying for customers to leave their customer numbers at the beep. Called multiple times with no answer. I knew it was a scam when they said they wanted to put me on a special project before I was to be hired full time, yet they did know know any details of this project. There were many other clues, but it took me a few weeks to put it all together. The address they gave was an office building with many offices, but they didn't give a suite number, even on their web site. As far as my research has determined, they do not have an office there. Tried to contact Mr. Fields by phone but he was aggressively evasive. No evidence that anyone else is working for them either. Not sure what they're scamming for but they definitely want to waste your time. The main lesson I learned is not to take a job offer over email! That should have been obvious, maybe.
