As I was going to facebook with google, my computer froze with a full page warning that if I did anything my computer would be permanently damaged. It said to call a phone number. This warning had Microsoft logos on it and looked legit. I just bought this computer so I thought I should pay attention. So I called the number. A man with a deep indian accent answered and proceeded to tell me that my Norton Security system was useless. I could hear voices in the background talking to people saying similar things also with indian accents. The cost for this service started at a lifetime coverage of $999.99. For a year was 349.99 then he ultimately said 299.99. We did not complete the transaction. I finally decided to go ahead and restart my computer and it is fine.
