I was told via text message that they had a remote job position and that I had to click a link for chat through Microsoft Teams. I did and they asked me a series of questions and then asked about which bank I bank at in order for direct deposit to be funded for supplies needed for the remote job position. They also said they needed my email address, home address, phone# to ensure I am in their list for follow-up. I felt a bit odd as I have never had an interview conducted this way, all through text message and chat messages. When I approached about the topic, they said that they are a legitimate company, however, the text when typed was a bit off. They sent me a website link for a website www.entacmedical.com and when googled it looked legitimate. However, they're approach and phishing for my information (I wish I did not give it to them) was really odd to me. I hope they do not utilize the information I provided to steal my identity or anything.

I was offered a remote position. Sent my laptop that contained personal information for myself and family on the hardrive. My first check i recieved in the mail bounced and put my account in the negative. Tomorrow im suppose to recieve a check reimbursing me for the amount and sending back my laptop. Im afraid this is a scam. The website at first glance looks legit but taking a second look there are a few red flags
