I applied to a job on Indeed, a few days later someone contacted me saying that I immediately got the job and that they would be sending me something through UPS or USPS. I then emailed back and said I was not interested in this position. A few days passed and I had gotten envelopes I opened them and inside were two checks each for 6,458 dollars I noticed the name of the bank. when I got to the bank I talked to someone and when I showed them the check they instantly said that their bank did not issue these kinds of checks she then went to look up the account and did not find anything on file she then saw that both of the checks were the exact same number and said that she was almost positive it was a scam.
