I was attempting to purchase an old English bulldog puppy.the seller wanted me to do a direct cash deposit in his chase account but I declined. I opted to do a paypal pymt. (the seller must send a paypal invoice for you to pay from for paypal to ensure safety of pymt. I did not know that , so I did not get paypal invoice from seller. Once the seller received my paypal pymt he advised me the next day to watch a website he provided to track the shipping of my puppy. (the seller provided the website www.mov.express.com, made up website that's not even functional. apparently they manually put in a fake tracking # and then update manually..The day shipping was to take place I get an email from the alleged shipping co stating I would have to purchase pet insurance of $500.00 to ensure the puppy would be covered during ground transport. Once the puppy was delivered to my front door, then I would get the $ back in full. Again requesting a direct cash deposit in a chase account that would be provided. I declined and stated I would pick up the puppy once he arrived at the airport. I continued watching the fake website to get an update on when my puppy should arrive, and then noticed they had put a hold on shipping of the puppy. stated I would need to purchase an electronic crate @ $500.00 for the puppy to travel in. again a direct cash deposit in a chase account that would be provided. I declined again. and contacted the seller and advised him to just send my $950.00 I had sent , of which included shipping to my doorstep, to return to me. The sellers name was Patrick Crooks. [email protected] but interestingly enough when I did the paypal payment the email and account name provided was [email protected] (David Capra) This is a scam, the guy doesn't live in Ocala Fla, the guy doesn't have any puppies, the address provided is not a legitimate address. The seller and shipper (who was the same person) would never call me. only text and email. Don't be fooled. this guy operates several web sites. Lakelandbulldogs.com, and probably numerous others. No matter how far you live , tell the seller you'd like to pick up the puppy and will have the $ for puppy when you pick up. Also see if the seller will talk to you on the phone. If the seller will not agree to either of these , he's a scammer.
