I bought an item from someone who then said he shipped via EMS Global Cargo. I received a text message from EMS stating they had received my package, but I needed to pay a $250 refundable insurance fee prior to shipment. However there was no way to pay on their website, so instead they wanted me to Zelle them the payment and then take a screenshot to confirm my payment. I refused to pay and told them to just return the shipment (I doubt there was one in the first place) to the supplier/sender.

This is a supposed shipping company that was used by someone who scammed me out of $450. They created fake shipping verification with a fake tracking number to fool me into believing I was having a product shipped to me that does not exist. They then insisted that the product needed to be in an air conditioned crate, thus asking for even more money in order for me to receive my product.
