I received a call on Friday morning, 9-22-17 , called a distant family member with my same last name and it was a recording on their voicemail and it identified as ERM & Associates with a Id number they said the last four digits of my social they said they had a civil claim and that they were going to bring criminal charges for they were going to show up at the place of employment to serve papers and that HR rep would need to be present to witness the signing/acceptance of the papers, and to call 844-201-9363. The family member advised me and I called the number, it was a recording thank you for calling ERM & Associates, ple[censored]d and it was an American woman's voice. Then a man answered, I think that was an American voice too. I think his name was Mr. G. (maybe Gillam), and he said hold please and another man picked up and he was a real forceful sounding guy, and he immediately asked for date of birth and last four of social, and I said before giving any information I would like the information of the company I am talking to, he wouldn't give me anything he didn't even repeat the name ERM & Associates. When I kept saying I wanted to verify the company that I was speaking with, he had a real hostile attitude, and refused to give me any information, he said have a good day and hung up. That's when I called the BBB.  ERM  & Associates wanted to know our location and how to reach us.
