I was approached with a job offer after applying on different job applications sites for a remote job. I went for the interview and assuming it was a zoom meeting and it ended up being through the Zoom Team Chat feature. They claimed I was the perfect fit and I could start training in the following week and that they'd send me the work materials. Instead they sent me a $4520 check which i was told to deposit which i did and then called my bank due to some issues which they kindly informed me it might be a scam and proceeded to ask me if i wanted to freeze my account. I told them to freeze my account
