Employment /work from home scam Reports & Reviews (1)

- Oklahoma City, OK, USA

After applying for a work-from-home job on Indeed. I was contacted by email, and after a week or so, I was sent documents such as a 1-9, W-4, and employment agreement to fill out and sign; Unfortunately, I did, and I even provided my license, which they asked for to "run a background check.''

Less than a few days later, they emailed me again and gave me a login to a website to "print and track" the packages. However, something didn't seem right. After all, it seemed too good to be true. $75/per package with a $50 bonus for each package sent on time but no pay until the end of the first month of working? It seemed too shady. So, I looked it up, and after finding a post just like my situation with the same company listed, I knew it was a total scam. Since then, I have turned away any packages they send me, and I've even given a false address to stop receiving packages.
