I received an email about a job position for package genius where packages would be sent to my address and I uploaded pictures and repackaged to ship back off to UPS access points. I had spoken to 4 individuals that were: Angela Paulner in HR, two supervisors named Paul and Elmer, and also someone that claim to be over the Shipping department. I was also told I would receive a $75 daily pay for base salary and $40 bonus for each package. Also, for VIP packages, I’ll receive $100 bonus. I had to send a picture of my ID with me holding it as well as my social security information, address, and direct deposit. I was inquired to fill out the W4 form for when it comes to filing my taxes. So far, I’ve only did two packages and came to realized when they had me download the new shipping label, it was different names and contained my address. I have proof of the shipping labels, the contacts of the shipping and HR, and also proof of the form they sent me.I was suspicious of it from me filling out applications, but couldn’t find where I did for this job from my emails. It all seemed so legit.
