I was contacted via txt about getting an interview for Eqtec. This is an actual company but someone is posing as them to scam ppl. I was told to download Signals for an interview, after a lengthy conversation I was told I would be hired and they would send over paperwork and a check for supplies They sent over a hire letter, W2 and I-9. Luckily I researched the phone number and it came up for a previous employment scam so I didn't send them any information. They had my address and email and mailed checks worth 10,000 for tp to deposit and scam me out of. Luckily I didn't take the bait. PLEASE BE AWARE!
