Scammer offered a remote job via Upwork to set up a fake interview process. They used Skype and asked for payment for equipment to perform said job after sending a fraudulent check with the company name to give the illusion of them paying for the equipment. The scammer kept lowering the amount to entice small payment amounts. The scammers used the following Skype IDs: live:.cid.70e79d7bce5b3b69 and live:.cid.7e927b6963ee16a. They had payments sent to the following email: [email protected].
