After Facebook everything was by Telegram text message. They were going to send me equipment and direct deposit money to my account and I was to purchase an Apple Card so the programs can be put on equipment before shipping to me. They have my driver's license number and email address and my cell phone number.

I have been looking for a job and i was signed up with a couple of job apps. An employer had responded to my profile on JobGet. They contacted me thru the job app but then had me sign onto a Microsoft Teams app so we could talk privately. I know that they're not suppose to contact you except thru the job app. They interviewed me online, hired me, sent me a letter offer for the job, and then it started. The asking if personal information, asked for me to purchase prepaid gift cards more than once. That's when i got really suspicious. I did purchase one card which was suppose to be for software to be processed on my soon to be computer for the job. But when they asked for the second gift card i told them i had no money and they stopped contacting me. I also noticed that they used the English language wrong on certain messages. It seemed legit at first cause it was the YMCA but then it was a seeming to me more that it was a scam. Just to good to be true.
