I am looking for a job. Scammer contacted me for an online job as a payment officer for $30/hr. I never applied for it but it seemed good and I was interviewed. During interview I was told I would have to use my own bank account to conduct transactions and after 2 week training I would get access to corporate account and a company provided laptop. An hour later I was sent a job offer requesting copy of ID and bank info for direct deposit. This is where I stopped all correspondence. Company website does not appear in Google search. Website IP shows Netherlands while company is in Quebec. Google Streetview does not show such company at the provided address. None of the people I spoke with have any LinkedIn or any social profiles. Job was for Quebec company eventhough it was not required for me to know French.
