The scammer claimed to be a hiring manager for ERP Buddies, a legit company based in Mississauga, and hired me as a motion graphic artist, when no such job posting was listed on the company website. They wanted me to deposit a cheque of $1,900.00 to my account. However, I called the real company and did not deposit the cheque, as I was advised that this was a scam.
