I was offered a job for a Program Manager- after accepting the job, I was told that the business was small and the company cannot direct deposit into my bank so I needed to open one with one of the listed banks here [Wells Fargo (preferred, Citibank,* Chase (excluding Secure Checking accounts), Lending Club, CIT Bank, Truist Bank, Capital One]. After doing this I gave them the information for the new account as they needed it for direct deposit- the account is empty and was intended solely to receive money. The training started, assignments were pertinent to Project Management, however on Day 3, 5/7/2025, the training was about creating a step-by-step guide for opening a Cryptocurrency account on Coinbase and it was asked that I open one as well to practice see how I would need to communicate the process to clients if they chose to use crypto as a means of payment. I was unable to do this and after an hour of back and forth trying to figure out why I was able to confirm with the new bank that they do not allow any transactions with crypto. I relayed this information to the HR manager who was in charge of my training. The next day I was told that I would not be given any work assignments since I was unable to use crypto. I asked why I could not focus on another assignment pertaining to Project Management such as budget lists or another proposal writing and was told "they only deal in cryptocurrency." The HR Manager, Pola Nowak, then said she needed to talk with the finance department about how to proceed and would get back me with me shortly. I called on the hour every hour for my shift but nobody answered or picked up. I sent two emails to be given no response. This morning, I have called over x30 and nobody has answered for an hour straight. The company website does not mention or discuss cryptocurrency whatsoever.

I declined job offers for this position- I do not have the luxury of not working and I do not like how this looks and is most likely a scam, aiming at new hires and small businesses.

Worked 8 am to 12 am doing data entry for the last 4 weeks, told me that the end of the internship required me to deposit 400 dollars into a libertyx account and to turn it into crypto in order to move forward.
