Same experience. Apparently they don't give a damn because they continue to engage in this scheme. I was charged an outrageous sum of money! I had to go to a certain hospital as it's in network, but they outsource to these shysters who apparently aren't. They are a bunch of damn crooks! Stay away from Mountain Star hospitals as they outsouce to these crooks! Either they have a lousy office staff or it's an intentiional criminal enterprise. Now I'm being sued & there is a hefty "legal" fee attached. What a racket. "Do no harm" does not seem to be important to them, just screwing people out of as much money as possible. Shame on them & shame on the Mountain Star hospital system.

I received a letter from this "company" saying I owed money for an emergency room visit. I actually did have an ER visit, But I was already in contact with them to pay out my side of expences monthly. Then I received a letter from Emergency Physicians Integrated Care with a past due balance. I didn't think anything of it until I received a letter with my billing statement from the actual hospital I visited. I went back to this document sent from EPIC and noticed there isnt any real information regarding my visit. They only thing they had was the date of my visit and the name of my health insurance. The description of service just says "Emergency evaluation & management services" with small writing underneath saying "at a 24-hour facility." I look at their google reviews and it has 1 star. Everyone complaining about how they are getting billed or sent to collections by a company that has 100% zero right to collect anything.
