I hired attorney Erika Roman to represent my boyfriend for his immigration court. I paid Ms. Roman $1,500 to retain her. I then paid her $500 prior to his second court day and Ms. Roman failed to show in court and sent another representative who arrived an hour and a half late. According to our signed contract between Ms. Roman and I the attorney could withdraw from the case if I failed to pay, but I made my payments on time and in advance. Out of no where Ms. Roman decided to withdraw from my boyfriend's case without no valid reason and is no making false accusations. Ms. Roman will not reimbursed my money and basically just took my money without representing my boyfriend. Ms. Roman is extremely unprofessional, always late to court, screams at you to get her point across, and Ms. Erika Roman will tell you she is working on the case, but is always unprepared when Ms. Roman arrives to court. I would not hire Ms. Erika Roman she is a scam.
