The offer letter

They ask you to use the app Telegram. But in the text Rommel Hayward accidently also asked me to use Hangouts Google to meet up next time. So they might use different third party apps to contact you after the first text message. And below is the offer letter attached with the I-9 form, W4 and offer letter they send you and prompt you to send it back as soon as possible.
the check will arrive two days later for you to buy office suppliances.

I thought it was strange that the interview was text only and not even a phone call or video interview. Since I'm a foreigner I thought this was normal until I started to search online and happened to see this page.

They said they reached out through INDEED.com and also that they job posting were not there because you are the chosen one so they didn't get to post an ad.

This ******* contacted my daughter. She has been looking for a job for months, she suffers from anxiety and depression. This creep contacted her through Indeed. He interviewed her by text. She even filled out a W4 and an I9. They sent her a check to buy office equipment. She deposited it in her bank and was told it should clear in a few days. After a few days, the check still hadn't cleared and she was asked if she had any money she could use and then she'd be able to repay herself when the check cleared. I told her I'd loan her $1,000. I venmoed the money to her and she sent it to them by Zelle. Then they wanted more and that's when we started checking. She called the company directly, Eloquest Healthcare, and they told her it was a scam.

I was on the same track for this to happen to me. Fortunately, my mother said something about this being unusual "hiring" process. I decided to google all the names I had interacted with, and none of them actually came up. I then found this post, and it confirmed it for me. Thank you for sharing.
