A guy called my number using my maiden name saying he was a compilance officer and had to deliver me documents. He said he was going to my home or to my job but that he didn't want to go to my job. He said he could not tell me what it was for but that I was being sued. He gave me a legal number to give the company when I called them. He said for me to call 844-224-4762 to resolve my issue so he would not have to give me the legal documents. I called the number and gave them the fake legal document number they told me to give when I called the 844-224-4762 number and a very rude lady picked up and said that I was being sued for a old debt and that if I didn't pay I would have to go to court and also pay the attorney fees and the court filing fees. She eventually connected me to a guy who was calm and said he was going to help me resolve my debt and put me on a payment plan of $50 month and took my debit card number. I had a bad feeling about them so I came here to the ScamPulse.com to look them up and can't find any Elmwood collection agency and the scam report for April 25,2019 where the lady talks about how the people called her brother and dad to say they where looking for her before they left her a voicemail is almost identical to what happened to me today as well. The company is fake so beware people.
