We are not sure if this is a scam or not, but it looks like one on the surface. We were contacted by a Mark Jennings via email as a property locator/seller of timeshares. He sent us a series of emails, the last one with a very urgent tone in that he had a buyer and would email the offer in the next few days.

We received the offer today via email, and he asked that we pay outstanding city & county taxes/transfer fees of approximately $160 with the buyer paying all other closing costs and commissions. The offer is well-above current market values of Hilton timeshares, again making it suspicious. We suspect that we would send the $160 and never hear from Elmwood Resorts again. That said, we wanted to know if you had any previous reports on or knowledge of Elmwood Resorts. If they are legit, we stand to be corrected.
