The company from EllisAndPorter.com claims to be a boutique shop in Boston. The website has no phone and no address. They are based in China and the quality of the item I received is very very poor. I lost $98.92.

Company claims to be in Boston. Merchandise from EllisAndPorter.com comes from China. Upon receiving and being dissatisfied for quality and fit, I requested to return the item. I had to pay $35 to ship it back to China when they claim to provide full refunds. I lost $59.95 total. Anne

Their website, EllisAndPorter.com, shows beautiful quality clothing. But what you get is poor quality printed polyester garbage. Then they argue with you over every email and expect you to mail it back to China for a refund.

Ellis & Porter from EllisAndPorter.com appeared on an Instagram Ad with their shop in Boston. States a Women owned and all USA made products. Full refund within 30 days of requesting a return. [email protected] stated they will only give me a 20% refund and I keep the dress that's made for a small girl/ child. I'm out $59.95 and I have a dress that does not fir. Said accepting a 20% refund would be the most environmentally friendly solution.

This company is a scam from beginning to end. False advertising, no transparency, not women owned, not based in the USA, No refund within 30 days. A complete scam

I ordered two items from Ellis and Porter from their website, EllisAndPorter.com. Their website led me to believe they were a family business located in Boston. The items arrived and were poor quality. One did not look like the item shown on their website. When I asked to return the items, I was given an address in China, and it turns out there is no physical address in Boston. Sending the items back to China would cost nearly as much as I paid for them. After many back and forth emails, they offered me 20% of my payment to keep the items.

SCAM company! "Porter & Ellis" supposedly has a physical store in Boston, Mass. They even show photos of the "storefront". Which does not exist. Company is actually located in China. Actual company name is Wang Maoqin, Lane 1177, Jianlan Road, Meixu Street, Yinzhou District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. Items are poor quality, not as described (for instance polyester when described as cotton). Company does not want to refund your money, despite stating "simple 100% money back guarantee" on their website. When refund is requested, they offer 30% discount on another order, then 10% refund, then 20% refund, then 30% refund, but require you to ship the item to China at your expense. And they warn you that shipping costs are "quite expensive", that they are not responsible if they don't receive it, so you need to pay for tracking, and that you need to falsely claim a "low value" for customs purposes to avoid customs holds (which will result in no refund).

On its website Ellis & Porter, Boston describes itself as a small family business in Boston, selling women's clothes. In fact, the business emanates from China. The blouses I bought were far too small. They were not as pictured on the website. When I asked to return them for a refund, the business told me to keep them, since returning them would cost too much, and that if I paid an additional $10 they would send me larger sizes. When I kept asking for a refund, they gave me an address in China,
