Several times in the last couple of weeks, we've received calls from "Ellicott Recovery" stating that they are serving us with court papers. They are leaving harassing voice mails claiming that we are being evasive about this debt however this is not true. Last week, they stated that they were going to serve us court papers to our home address (which they knew) on Friday May 7th. I am a cancer patient currently going through treatment and rather than take my medications to help me rest, I stayed up all day waiting for them to serve the papers. No knock ever happened. Today, May 10th, they left a voicemail stating that we were being evasive as they attempted to delivery the court documents on Friday the 7th but no one answered. This is not possible. I was home all day and waited for this delivery. When I contacted them today to get their address, they wouldn't provide it. They would only provide a company name as "Ellicott Recovery". No information is available on the internet regarding this company name. Please do not be intimidated by this scam.
