Contacted me via EMAIL to solicit a position as a manager, with phishing link: https://cp.ellevis.com/application.

100% this was through indeed.com, as I have only applied through that website with my private business email.

I was initially reached out by an Opal Brown via a gmail email. I emailed back to the message that stated: "I am Opal Brown. There’s an opening for Logistics Manager and I would like you to use this opportunity and become a part of our company. It requires desire to learn, laptop or PC with constant Internet access, and permission to work in the US. If this sounds right for you, please reply to this letter and we will contact you to arrange a phone interview. Best regards, Opal Brown"

As the initial email did not seem like it was initially malicious, I received a follow up email to me requesting more information about this position and a potential LinkedIn or Indeed website to see the position. This email entailed some information about a "Logistics and Trading Manager" at a supposed US company that was sent from a [email protected] which had two pdfs including information about the position and how to apply. I'm not 100% sure if it is a scam but it does seem like a scam because the emails have not had any information about where they got my email or why they decided to reach out this way, rather than through a job search website, like LinkedIn or Indeed.

They conducted a few minutes of interview and offered me the job, sent me an offer letter, asked that I should print it sign and send it back to them, they also sent me a W-2 FORM to fill which I was requested to add my social security number and photo ID, i sent it and I was later ask to send my driver's license by email also, starting that if I don't send my DL, THE JOB OFFER WILL BE REVOKED, but because I was currently unemployed, I lost my job couple of months prior, and I was about to have a baby I quickly sent it out of desperation not to loose another job. But then I started having my doubt and starting doing some research until i found this website and some scam comment about them.
